The traditional painting contest organized for the 4th time by Private Ümit Hospital has concluded. Each year, the event involves the participation of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade primary school students. This year’s theme was: “If you had magic, which dream would you like to make come true?”

The first-place winner received a laptop, the second-place winner a tablet, the third-place winner an MP4 music player, and the honorable mentions received painting kits.

During the award ceremony, Private Ümit Hospital Administrative Director Dr. Oktay Tanrıverdi stated: “We are happy to be hosting the 4th edition of our now-traditional painting contest. Children born in our hospital have grown up enough to participate. This event is not merely a drawing activity — the winning artworks are printed on our hospital calendars and proudly displayed in our rooms throughout the year.”

Winner Ceren Kale shared: “I really want to swing from trees, fly, and travel in a spaceship. I dream of living in a colorful world. I painted all of these in my drawing. I love drawing and I’m very happy to win 1st place.”

Second-place winner Eren Çatalçam said: “If I had a magic wand, I’d let people fly. That’s what I drew. I didn’t expect to win second place, and I’m very happy.”

Third-place winner Zeynep Ekin Cingöz said she loves drawing. “I drew myself in my picture. One side of the drawing represented war and evil, and the other side beauty and goodness.”

The hospital administrators presented the awards, and the students and their families took souvenir photos to commemorate the day.
